This is not a “wait for renewals” role. As an Employee Benefits Advisor, you’ll own your pipeline, drive new opportunities, and work directly with decision-makers. You’ll have the support, tools, and flexibility to go out and win business — and you’ll be rewarded for it. If you’ve got experience but feel stuck at a large firm, or you’ve been on the insurer side and want to move into a revenue-driving advisor role, this is your chance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prospecting and opening doors with business owners and HR leaders
- Turning conversations into opportunities — and opportunities into clients
- Designing and presenting group benefits solutions (health, dental, life, A&S, wellness)
- Managing relationships from first meeting through onboarding and renewals
- Working closely with carriers and internal teammates to get deals across the line
- Building a book of business you’re proud of — and growing it
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of employee benefits or group insurance experience
- Life & A&S license in your home province (we’ll license you elsewhere ASAP)
- CEBS or GBA designation is an asset
- You’re comfortable hearing “no” and pushing forward anyway
- You like autonomy and being accountable for your results
- You communicate confidently and can simplify complex benefits discussions
- You’re organized, driven, and competitive — in a healthy way
