THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for a Licensed 421A Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a well-established industrial operation in Arthur, Ontario , specializing in environmental and agricultural production services. This is a hands-on maintenance role responsible for servicing and repairing heavy mobile equipment in a safety-focused and team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, hydraulic work, troubleshooting, and major mechanical repairs on a variety of heavy equipment. ADVANTAGES Great starting pay rate of $42.50/hr Full-time permanent opportunity Comprehensive health and dental benefits Company pension Stable and growing company Supportive team environment Well-known employer Overtime opportunities available RESPONSIBILITIES Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment including screeners, grinders, bulldozers, and front-end loaders Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and operational issues Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools Weld, fabricate, and manufacture custom parts when required Complete preventative maintenance documentation and repair records Order parts and maintain repair documentation as needed Prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures Work independently with minimal supervision in indoor and outdoor environments REQUIREMENTS Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License 3 years of experience in an industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environment Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills Experience with hydraulics, welding, fabrication, and preventative maintenance Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid G Class Driver's License Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding work Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and industrial conditions Strong commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures INDSTRIVEON LI-SR
