As a General Foreperson, you will provide leadership while coordinating and supervising laborers for effective construction processes. Your role includes operating heavy equipment like picker trucks and telehandlers, ensuring safety in operations, and maintaining client relationships. Effective communication and adherence to site policies are paramount for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate picker trucks and telehandlers during project execution
- Manage daily toolbox meetings and safety investigations
- Conduct Task Hazard Assessments and report job site statuses
- Oversee quality inspections and complete quality reports
- Maintain equipment and enforce safety protocols at work sites
Requirements:
- CSTS, H2S Alive, and other safety certifications required
- 2-3 years as a Crew Truck Foreperson
- 3-5 years as a Labourer in pipeline or facility construction
- Valid driver's license with clear communication skills
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
