Collateral management and reconciliation expertise define this permanent Middle Office position in Montreal. Support booking, settlement, and client reporting across collateral operations.
The Collateral Management Associate provides direct operational support for repos and OTC derivatives. Working with GV Collat, COMET, DRACCAR, Orchestrade, Murex FCO, and Helix, you manage margin calls, reconciliations, settlements, and MTM reporting. The position reports to the Head of Collateral Team and supports counterparties across America and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Notify, confirm, and book margin calls for repos and OTC derivatives
- Reconcile portfolios and investigate accounting discrepancies
- Coordinate booking, payments, and settlement with Middle and Back Offices
- Produce MTM client reports for New York time zone counterparties
- Document procedures and participate in Paris projects and UAT
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree, BSc degree, or equivalent
- Six to ten years of minimal experience
- Experience with collateral processes required
- Understanding of reconciliations preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and client relationship management skills
