This full-time, permanent Product Manager reports to the Director, Housing Solutions. You will turn product concepts into standardized solutions for industrial-scale housing production. The work spans requirements, design decisions, testing, manufacturing transition, and field installation. Success requires technical knowledge of building systems and strong stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define requirements using customer, sales, development, and site input
- Partner with engineering, design, procurement, construction, and external consultants
- Assess products, materials, and technologies for cost and scalability
- Lead value engineering to simplify designs and improve performance
- Support manufacturing and field installation transition while troubleshooting issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
- Five or more years developing building products or construction solutions
- Understanding of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing interactions
- Ability to balance cost, performance, manufacturability, and constructability
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills across technical stakeholders
