As a Buyer, you will be responsible for monitoring requirements, purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory. You will also build and maintain effective, long-lasting operational relationships with our suppliers.
On a daily basis, you will:
- Process and follow up on purchase orders, delivery timelines, and compliance for our Canadian sites;
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and address disputes or issues as needed;
- Identify product requirements based on company objectives and projects and provide equivalent product alternatives in the event of shortages;
- Develop and implement effective, cost-efficient purchasing strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining product and service quality;
- Work closely with various internal teams to ensure the smooth operation of the procurement function.
