- Lead and mentor your 3D FX artists to solve complex problems
- Conceptualize and create technically challenging hero effects
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream production teams
- Conduct department dailies and meetings to enhance quality
- Work closely with the Pipeline team to resolve technical issues
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in effects simulations
- High proficiency in Houdini, Maya, and Nuke Compositing
- Mastery of the 3D animation production pipeline
- Legally eligible to work in British Columbia
- Desire to learn new 3D FX techniques
