Lead Stantec’s Atlantic Canada Aquatic team through people leadership, project management, and technical expertise across environmental projects. Office work is required at least three days weekly. This midlevel manager role guides team performance, professional development, and business growth. You will contribute to aquatic habitat assessments, environmental monitoring, environmental assessments, regulatory permitting, and aquatic ecosystem studies. Collaboration spans offices, disciplines, and regional teams. Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day leadership supporting engagement, development, and retention Coach team members through career planning and technical development Align resources for project backlogs and business development opportunities Lead performance reviews for direct reports Champion HSSE compliance and training initiatives Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Biology, Aquatic Sciences, or related discipline Five-plus years of aquatic science consulting or related experience Experience in people leadership, project management, or technical leadership Familiarity with project management, HSSE, and QA/QC processes French proficiency is considered an asset Apply aquatic science, collaborative leadership, and project management expertise across Stantec’s Atlantic Canada environmental practice.
