Shape internal communications at Stantec using strategic planning and compelling content for employees across Toronto and Ottawa. This full-time role supports Human Resources communications. As an Employee Communications Specialist, you will develop communications strategies and activate learning and organizational development initiatives companywide. You will create email, intranet, and video content while connecting employees with Stantec’s Strategic Plan and brand. This is a 12-month contract anticipated to end in December 2027. Key Responsibilities:
Develop communications plans, campaign concepts, approaches, and timelines Create email, intranet, and video communications for varied audiences Build trusted relationships with HR leaders and internal partners Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy Monitor communications effectiveness and apply insights to future decisions Requirements:
Five or more years in a communications-related role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational, project coordination, and strategic planning skills Proficiency with web tools and Microsoft Office applications Communications, public relations, English, journalism, or marketing degree preferred Bring strategic communication, content creation, and relationship-building expertise to Stantec’s Human Resources communications team.
