This Surveillance Security Guard position monitors security systems across environments including security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses. You will identify suspicious activity, respond to incidents, document events, and help protect secure premises. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 0000 to 0800 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems for suspicious activity
- Respond quickly to incidents and potential threats
- Write detailed reports documenting observed events
- Conduct foot patrols across the premises
- Control secure-area access and check visitor identification
Requirements:
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Valid security license
- Required first aid certification
