As a Lighting Design Consultant, you will grow the lighting business through consultative selling and relationship development. You will work with interior designers and architects, alongside Cantu's plumbing sales team, to add lighting to active projects. The work combines outbound outreach, showroom consultations, and lunch and learns, supported by approximately 300 fixtures and European brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business using monthly plumbing invoice reports as warm leads
- Build relationships with approximately 700 designer accounts
- Advise clients on functional, feature, and decorative lighting
- Prepare quotes and specifications and manage orders through delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM, quoting, and order data
Requirements:
- Sales or design experience in residential lighting
- Background in luxury finishes or technical design products
- Consultative selling experience with designers or contractors
- Strong detail orientation and follow-through
- Technical curiosity about fixtures, finishes, and CSA nuances
