This position is integral in supporting the transport of approximately 3,640 students across rural and urban areas, specifically serving Elk Point Elementary and F.G. Miller Jr/Sr High schools. Applicants must possess a Class 1 or 2 Driver's License and an "S" endorsement, with requirements for background checks. Training may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safe transportation for school children
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations
- Ensure bus cleanliness and functionality
- Interact with parents and school personnel as needed
- Keep accurate driving logs and monitor student behavior
Requirements:
- Class 1 or 2 Driver's License with "S" Endorsement
- Criminal Record - Vulnerable Sector Check
- Alberta Child Services Intervention Check
- Driver's License Abstract required
- First Aid Certification preferred
