St. Margaret's School seeks an educator experienced in the IB Primary Years Programme. The teacher will create inclusive, engaging learning environments using evidence-based instruction, differentiation, and assessment. The position supports girl-centered learning and whole-child development across academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Grade 3 Primary Years Programme curriculum
- Design creative, relevant inquiry-based lesson plans
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles
- Assess learning through feedback and progress reports
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary units with colleagues
Requirements:
- Valid British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch certification
- Bachelor of Education focused on Primary Years
- Experience teaching in an IB Primary Years setting
- Experience using inquiry-focused and 21st Century strategies
- Legal ability to work in Canada
