This temporary 1.0 FTE position covers a leave of absence from February 8, 2027, to February 5, 2028. The successful educator creates engaging curriculum, supports whole-child development, and builds belonging in a culturally and intellectually inclusive classroom. Experience in an IB Primary Years Programme setting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver motivating Primary Years Programme curriculum
- Develop inquiry-driven, creative, girl-centered learning experiences
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles
- Assess learning through feedback and progress reports
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Valid British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch certification
- Bachelor of Education focused on the Primary Years
- Experience teaching in an IB Primary Years Programme
- Inquiry-focused teaching and 21st Century strategies experience
- Legal ability to work in Canada
