Lead energy assessments and drive sustainability initiatives as the Energy/BAS Lead at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. Utilize your expertise in energy management to optimize efficiency across all facilities.
This full-time, in-person role will assess energy needs, develop management policies, and identify savings opportunities while representing SJHH in BAS system upgrades. You will collaborate with energy providers to secure incentives, deliver training, and actively engage with the SJHH Green Team to promote sustainability. This position is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and enhancing energy performance across SJHH's campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy assessments for multiple SJHH facilities
- Develop and implement energy management policies
- Evaluate and integrate new BAS functionalities
- Secure energy conservation incentives with providers
- Provide training on energy efficiency to staff
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience plus on-the-job training
- AEE Certified Energy Manager preferred
- Familiarity with energy modeling software
- Proficiency in BAS systems and troubleshooting
