Support admissions processing at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish with accurate data entry and exceptional student service. This is a full-time, sessional position.
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Admissions, the Academic Services Assistant works within Recruitment and Admissions. The position provides service to prospective and current StFX students while processing applications, transcripts, language tests, and supplemental information. Accuracy, communication, and Office 365 proficiency are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process admissions documents efficiently and accurately
- Enter applications, transcripts, language tests, and supplemental information
- Confirm received and outstanding documentation with students
- Update names, addresses, and email information accurately
Requirements:
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Accuracy and attention to detail during repetitive tasks
- Experience managing high-volume, time-sensitive priorities
- Office 365 proficiency; Banner familiarity is an asset
