About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated
Android Developer to join our growing technology team on a full-time remote basis in Canada.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience developing high-quality Android applications using
Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture .
You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to build scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications.
- Build modern and responsive user interfaces using
Kotlin and Jetpack Compose .
- Implement Android applications using
MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Jetpack .
- Integrate REST APIs, JSON services, third-party SDKs, and backend systems.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Debug application issues and improve performance and stability.
- Conduct code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Work with Git/Git Hub for version control and collaborative development.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA teams, and product managers.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and technical discussions.
- Ensure applications work effectively across different Android devices and OS versions.
- Help publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Required Skills
- 2–5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong knowledge of
Kotlin .
- Strong experience with
Android Studio and Android SDK .
- Experience with
Jetpack Compose .
- Good understanding of
MVVM / Clean Architecture .
- Experience with Android Jetpack libraries.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience with Git and Git Hub/Git Lab.
- Knowledge of SQLite, Room Database, or similar local databases.
- Understanding of Android application lifecycle and performance optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills.

- Experience with Firebase.
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
- Experience with Hilt/Koin dependency injection.
- Experience with unit and UI testing using JUnit/Espresso.
- CI/CD experience for Android applications.
- Google Play Store publishing experience.
- Experience with payment gateways or third-party API integrations.
- Basic knowledge of backend technologies.
