Operate boom trucks in Cambridge, Ontario, using mobile crane skills, safe driving practices, and customer-focused delivery service. This is a full-time position.
The Boom Truck Operator transports products to job sites and places materials where requested. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, maintenance, dispatch communication, and construction-site coordination. The position requires a valid DZ or AZ licence, crane certification, and practical communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform circle-checks and complete required logbook entries
- Transport loads while following road rules and company standards
- Operate boom and mobile cranes during loading and unloading
- Verify load security, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with dispatch, customers, trades, and warehouse staff
Requirements:
- Valid DZ or AZ driver's licence, or equivalent
- Minimum two years' driving experience and clean driver's abstract
- 0–8-ton mobile crane certification and one year's experience
- Practical written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb stairs
