What You’ll Do

- Lead by example, delivering exceptional service to Sporting Life’s internal and external customers.
- Serve as a role model for customer service excellence, ensuring a best-in-class shopping experience.
- Create connections between customers and associates while adjusting floor coverage to meet dynamic needs.
- Drive Operational Excellence
- Achieve profitability targets, including sales, wage management, shrink reduction, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with Sporting Life standards and policies.
- Partner with department managers to maintain well-stocked, visually appealing spaces that reflect our brand.
- Lead and Develop an Exceptional Team
- Foster an inclusive and high-performance environment.
- Coach and mentor your management team through one‑on‑one meetings, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Conduct interviews and ensure the onboarding of new hires aligns with our culture and standards.
- Build a Culture of Learning and Growth
