Licensed Optician at Specsavers Dufferin Mall in Toronto, using optical expertise and personalized styling to support customers' vision needs. This onsite position offers up to 40 hours weekly, based on business needs.
As a Licensed Optician, you will interpret prescriptions, guide frame and lens choices, and deliver comfortable, well-fitting eyewear. You will work with retail and clinical teams while supporting Specsavers' Customer Experience model. The role also includes digital dispensing measurements, quality checks, after-care, and optical product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret optical prescriptions and explain customers' visual needs
- Guide personalized frame and lens selections
- Perform dispensing measurements and eyewear quality checks
- Manage after-care services and resolve customer complaints
- Coach team members in optical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Valid provincial Dispensing Optician License and College registration
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Optical dispensary experience preferred
- Reliability and flexibility for retail hours
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
