We're looking for a qualified "Multi-Skilled Worker" to join our Village team. This is a part‐time position. If you are a strong team player that is interested in assisting with a variety of tasks, then we'd like to hear from you!
Under the direction of the Community Manger or delegate, the multi-skilled worker delivers a varied number of services which may encompass social/recreation programming, dietary and dining services, housekeeping and laundry.
What You Will Do:
- Performs a variety of custodial tasks to maintain a safe homelike environment for residents and families.
- Participates in and/or organizes the delivery of resident entertainment and social activities;
- Answers the telephone in a courteous manner and record and distribute all messages accurately.
- Handles emergency and crisis situations as per 911 fire, safety and building emergency direction.
- Reports any building deficiencies or concerns to the Community Manager.
What You Will Bring:
- Clear a Vulnerable Sector - Criminal Record Check.
- Immunization record
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Works cooperatively with other team members to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
- Respects and promotes the dignity, choices and individuality of each resident by recognizing them as a whole individual with unique cultural, spiritual and psychological needs
