This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lead Engineer Racking, located in Brampton, ON, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Lead Engineer Racking will oversee the design, development, and implementation of steel racking systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee design, development, and implementation of steel racking systems.
- Manage projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, and provide technical support to support ongoing improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and developing steel racking systems and other material storage solutions.
- Professional Engineer with a valid stamp in at least one Canadian Province.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience designing and analyzing racking and racking systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication is a plus.
