SOUTHLAND is seeking dedicated Class 2S Driver Instructors to educate new employees and provide ongoing training for current drivers. This role requires effective communication skills, knowledge of traffic regulations, and a Class 2S Instructor Certification. Training operates Monday to Friday, ensuring a structured schedule for instructors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom sessions for new trainees
- Assess daily driving skills to ensure competency
- Evaluate on-the-road performance of trainees
- Use TrackIt for monitoring training progress
- Address questions from drivers regarding Training & Development
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license with "S" endorsement
- Knowledgeable about Highway Traffic Act and Emergency Procedures
- Possess clear 10-year commercial driver's abstract
- Maintain high confidentiality levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
