Support healthcare purchasing and strategic sourcing at Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario, using contract coordination and supply chain expertise. This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid, virtual, and in-person work where applicable.
As a Sourcing and Contracts Operations Specialist, you will provide purchasing and coordination support for contracts and capital purchases. You will help end users navigate requisitioning and supply chain processes while supporting Shared Service Organization reconciliations. The position also supports Request for Proposal activities and the Manager of Materials Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide purchasing support for contracts and capital purchases
- Coordinate requisitioning and supply chain process support
- Support end users with purchasing and supply procedures
- Complete Shared Service Organization reconciliations and administrative duties
- Support RFQ, RFI, and RFP initiatives
Requirements:
- Post-secondary business or relevant community college education
- CPP, CSMP, OIPMAC-Purchasing certification, or equivalent
- Two to three years healthcare purchasing experience
- Experience in strategic sourcing environments
- Microsoft applications, project management, and conflict resolution training
