Southbridge is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian for its Owen Sound, Ontario location. This part-time position requires three days a week of expertise in geriatric nutrition and interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams. You will play a critical role in nutritional assessments and personalized meal planning, ensuring our residents receive optimal care and delicious food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult and advise on nutrition and hydration needs
- Complete nutritional assessments using RAI MDS 2.0
- Develop and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans
- Review seasonal menus for nutritional adequacy
- Educate residents and team members on nutrition recommendations
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian with College of Dietitians of Ontario
- 3-5 years experience in long-term care preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Negative vulnerable sector check completed
