Must Have
- Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership and coordination of activities in the functional design and delivery of the project.
- Provide functional advice to clients and team leveraging their PeopleSoft HCM functional knowledge to meet project goals and objectives ensuring efficiency.
- PeopleSoft HCM Functional expertise in leading the analysis, design and configuration.
- Significant Knowledge of Human Resources and Payroll business functions especially as it relates to the Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2+ HCM applications and integration points.
- Experience leading functional teams to perform analysis, design and configuration for entire project lifecycle.
- Experience leading functional tests, system integration, load, performance, user acceptance, and payroll parallel testing for the PeopleSoft HCM application.
- Experience with quality assurance principles, practices, tools and structure methodology, including defect tracking and handling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 5+ years of functional lead experience and 5+ years of experience as a QA.
Desirable Skills
- PeopleSoft HCM Functional expertise in leading the analysis, design and configuration of the Ontario Public Service (OPS) enterprise HR/Payroll system or at a Public Service client.
- Knowledge and understanding of Project Management's Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
Description Responsibilities
- Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership and coordination of activities in the functional design and delivery of the project.
- Provide specialized PeopleSoft HCM Functional expertise in leading the analysis, design and configuration of the Ontario Public Service (OPS) enterprise HR/Payroll system.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate and prioritize potential issues and provide advice on resolution.
- Suggest opportunities to improve design and configuration of PeopleSoft modules in use.
- Lead system analysts and senior functional analysts' team for both OPS and Fee-for-service resources.
- Provide senior technical expertise, project leadership and coordination of activities in the testing of I&IT solutions - Peoplesoft PUM upgrade, Tools upgrade and turning on new features including UI changes.
- Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I&IT solutions and applications to meet program/service goals and objectives ensuring efficiency.
- Provides specialized PeopleSoft HCM technical expertise in leading the testing of the OPS enterprise HR/Payroll system.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate and prioritize potential defects.
- Suggests opportunities to improve testing quality or effort.
