Sosna Inc. is an award-winning design-build renovator based in Vaughan / GTA, with 25 years of experience transforming outdated homes into spaces people love. We specialize in fixed-price, whole-home renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, and additions for homeowners who plan to stay put. Our promise is peace of mind: exceptional craftsmanship, on time and on budget, every time.
We recently won the CHBA National Award for Best Home Renovation in Canada, reflecting the high standards we uphold. Our clients often feel nervous about renovating, and your role is to make them feel safe, understood, and excited.
The role: You will be the client's main point of contact from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. You will listen to their vision, sell the project, and stay involved through design and construction to ensure what was sold is what gets built. However, you must also fill your own pipeline, as this is not an order-taker role.
What you'll actually do:
- Hunt for business by generating your own leads and following up quickly to keep your pipeline full.
- Call past clients regularly to ask for referrals.
- Set your own targets and hit them, holding yourself accountable.
- Ask direct questions to uncover the real budget, timeline, and decision-makers early in the process.
- Run a clear sales process, ensuring every conversation ends with a defined outcome.
- Stay involved after the sale by working with our design team, coordinating with the construction PM, making site visits, and solving problems proactively.
- Keep Buildertrend updated with every project change and selection.
Why join Sosna:
- The work matters; every project changes how a family lives.
- You get a real say; we listen to your ideas and solutions.
- You're part of the design process, helping shape each project.
- A strong team supports you, including designers, estimators, and PMs.
- Real coaching and growth opportunities with one-on-one training and ongoing support.
What you’ll earn:
- Base salary plus commission, with realistic total earnings of $100,000+ (base depends on experience).
- Growth opportunities, including the chance to lead your own sales team.
- Vehicle allowance opportunity.
- Paid bi-weekly.
- Flexible hours with some work-from-home options when it suits the schedule.
What you need:
- Incredible customer service skills.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in residential renovation, construction, or interior design.
- Residential construction knowledge; a design or architectural-tech background is a strong asset.
- Excellent written and spoken English for proposals, letters, and emails.
- Sharp attention to detail for estimating and budgeting accuracy.
- Ability to read architectural drawings (AutoCAD/Revit a plus, not required).
- A reliable vehicle.
- Comfort working under pressure and meeting deadlines while being enjoyable to clients.
This is NOT for you if:
- You only feel comfortable when leads come to you by referral.
- The idea of cold outreach or calling past clients makes you uncomfortable.
- You need someone else to set your goals and remind you to hit them.
- You go quiet when it's time to ask for the budget, sale, or referral.
- You take coaching but do not act on it.
- You require a rigid 9-to-5 schedule and cannot flex for client evenings or weekends.
If you resonate with our values and approach, we want to hear from you. Sosna Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
