For this multinational company expanding its business in Belgium, we are looking for an experienced accountant to join a small financial department.
In this position, you will work hand in hand with the finance department at the company's HQ in Asia, as well as with the local finance manager.
Along with daily accounting, you will act as the person in charge for administration.
This position is based in Waterloo.
- Accounting Officer – The Role
- Book invoices in the accounting software (AP/AR/bank statements)
- Create and transmit invoices to customers, liaise with the credit control department
- Prepare month-and year-end closings (salaries, provisions, accruals..)
- Prepare regular reports for the company's finance department at HQ
- Point of contact for the external accountant & during audits
- Day-to-day administration & office management
- Accounting Officer – About You
- You have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or in a relevant field
- You have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in an international company
- You are fluent in French and English
