This Data Architect develops common, canonical, domain, and enterprise data models across multiple business domains. The work includes business glossaries, controlled vocabularies, semantic relationship models, and reference data structures. Strong knowledge of architecture principles, modelling standards, and best practices is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual, logical, physical, and semantic data models
- Establish common business definitions and controlled vocabularies
- Facilitate terminology and canonical definition workshops
- Develop business glossaries and reference data models
- Support interoperability, information exchange, and data governance
Requirements:
- Extensive enterprise and canonical data modelling experience
- Deep knowledge of data architecture principles and standards
- Experience with ERwin, PowerDesigner, Visio, or equivalent tools
- Experience establishing modelling standards and metadata requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
