Microsoft licensing operations leadership meets compliance expertise in this Softchoice manager role. Lead accurate, efficient transactions across the licensing lifecycle. The Manager, Operational Excellence leads Softchoice’s Microsoft Licensing Operations team and daily transaction execution. You will oversee quoting, contracts, ordering, amendments, renewals, and agreement maintenance. The role requires licensing knowledge, people leadership, operational judgment, and strong controls across commercial, public sector, and education customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, develop, and retain the Microsoft Operations team
- Oversee quoting, contracting, ordering, amendments, and renewals
- Monitor service levels, productivity, quality, and operational performance
- Translate Microsoft requirements into procedures, controls, and training
- Escalate risks, exceptions, and complex customer matters appropriately
Requirements:
- At least three years of progressive relevant operational experience
- Demonstrated coaching, performance management, and workload planning experience
- Practical software licensing and agreement maintenance knowledge
- Experience supporting compliance reviews, audits, controls, or risk management
- Strong cross-functional communication and analytical problem-solving skills
