Westman Groundworks is hiring experienced operators for skid steers, loaders and plow trucks.
This is an on-call, weather-dependent position. Operators can expect full shifts whenever Brandon receives approximately 2 inches or more of snow. Additional work such as snow hauling, equipment maintenance and shop work may be available.
DUTIES
- Operate snow-removal equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow assigned routes and maintain route timing
- Keep equipment clean, greased and properly maintained
- Check fluids and report damage or mechanical concerns
- Document completed properties and communicate with supervisors
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class 5 driver?s licence
- Heavy-equipment operating experience
- Phone with an active data plan
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Available for long shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
- Snow-removal experience, a Class 3 licence and an air-brake endorsement are assets.
Compensation is competitive based on experience and skill level.
