About Snaplii

Snaplii is a profitable wallet and payments platform for people and their AI agents: 400,000+ users, about $150M in annual payment volume, and 500+ brand partners including Costco, Walmart, Amazon and Uber.

Muse has taken off, and Snaplii is already live on it, with about 2,000 AI agents running on Snaplii. AI helps people decide what to buy. Snaplii completes the payment, safely.

We have offices in Toronto and Silicon Valley.

The role

We're hiring one leader to own our consumer business: the Snaplii app and wallet, Snaplii Cash (the balance users keep in the app), and rewards and cashback, along with the growth, retention and operations behind them.

Our CEO leads AI payments, fundraising, strategy and major partnerships. You run the consumer business day to day, end to end. It's a hands‑on executive role with a clear path to COO.

What you'll do

Run the consumer business

  • Grow users across the full funnel: acquisition, activation and referral, with LTV and CAC you can stand behind.
  • Grow Snaplii Cash balances and wallet usage while managing cost of funds, so deposit growth is profitable growth.
  • Keep users transacting, with retention, rewards and cashback programs that pay for themselves.
  • Own the consumer P&L and budget, and report on the business to the CEO.

Connect the teams behind it

  • Product, Engineering, Growth, Operations, Finance and Compliance all touch the consumer business. You get them working from one plan and one set of numbers.
  • Run the weekly operating rhythm, set priorities across teams, and make the trade-offs between them.
  • Own day‑to‑day work with our partner banks, from settlement questions to compliance requests. New bank partnerships are led by the CEO and our advisors.
  • Build and lead the team that runs the consumer business.

You’ll also use AI to make yourself and your team faster. You don't need to be an AI expert.

What year one looks like

  • MAU, DAU, deposits, retention, wallet usage and revenue moving the right way, with healthy contribution margin.
  • Cross‑team decisions on the consumer business made without escalating to the CEO.
  • A team with clear goals and an operating rhythm that runs on its own.

Your background

You've most likely been a VP, Head of, or Senior Director of Growth, Product or a consumer business line, at a consumer fintech, neobank, digital wallet or payments company, or at a consumer internet company such as a marketplace, delivery or subscription business. You're senior enough to own the numbers and still close enough to the work to run experiments yourself.

Must have

  • Typically 12+ years of experience, including senior leadership in growth, product or a consumer business line.
  • You've personally run an acquisition, activation and retention loop, and you can walk us through the numbers and the part you did yourself.
  • You've owned a budget or P&L and you think in unit economics.
  • You've led work across Product, Engineering and Operations, including teams that didn't report to you, and got it shipped.
  • You've taken a product from early stage to scale.
  • Hands‑on: comfortable in SQL or a dashboard.
  • Professional working fluency in English and Mandarin.

Nice to have

  • Deposit, wallet or stored‑balance experience, including managing cost of funds.
  • Experience working with a partner or sponsor bank.

This role probably isn't for you if

  • Your growth experience is mainly paid media buying, without owning the product side.
  • You'd rather set direction and leave the hands‑on work to others.
  • Base cash is the only part of the package that matters to you.

Compensation

  • Total compensation of CAD $250K–$350K, plus meaningful equity (4-year vesting).
  • Executive role reporting directly to the CEO, with a clear path to COO.
