We are looking for an experienced welder with solid MIG capabilities with TIG also being advantageous who can fit in to a team that builds the framework for a lot of the commercial furniture and fit-outs that you would see in many hospitality venues across the country. Chairs, benches, tables, bars, you name they do it....the work is high end and neat.
Key responsibilities:
- Welding (MIG/TIG) to spec with various metals and alloys such as mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Working from job sheets and drawings
- Operate machinery associated with welding such as cutting tools and grinder
- Work in consultation with leading hands
Role requirements:
- Solid proficiency in MIG/TIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret working drawings
- Excellent organizational skills
- Adept in using hand/power tools and cutting machinery
- High fabrication capabilities
