As an Environmental Scientist or Engineer, you will support SLR's Land Quality and Remediation team. The position involves Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, monitoring, reclamation, and remediation programs. You will contribute to project planning, coordination, reporting, client communication, and data reviews across varied oil and gas, commercial, industrial, federal, and municipal sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead field programs for contaminated-site assessment, monitoring, and remediation
- Sample soil, groundwater, soil vapour, and surface water
- Coordinate drilling, monitoring-well installations, and remediation programs
- Support budgets, schedules, proposals, and technical reporting
- Communicate with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements:
- Seven to twelve years' contaminated-site assessment experience preferred
- Experience leading Phase I and II assessment fieldwork
- Knowledge of oil and gas and contaminated-site safety requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Valid driver's license and occasional remote travel availability
