Lead Indigenous engagement for AtkinsRéalis transportation infrastructure projects across Ontario, using consultation expertise and strong relationship-building skills. You will support Ministry of Transportation Ontario and Hydro One programs. You will lead engagement across project lifecycles, integrate Indigenous perspectives into planning, and advise clients on consultation requirements. The work includes strategic facilitation, project management, and regulatory documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with First Nations, organizations, and Indigenous businesses
- Lead engagement and consultation programs across project lifecycles
- Develop strategies, facilitate meetings, and manage commitments
- Integrate Indigenous perspectives into planning and decision-making
- Prepare engagement plans, reports, and regulatory documentation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Indigenous engagement, relations, EA, or related experience
- Experience working with Indigenous communities across Canada
- Infrastructure, transportation, environmental, or resource project experience
- Strong facilitation, communication, and project management skills
- Knowledge of Indigenous rights, treaties, UNDRIP, and reconciliation
- Bring Ontario Indigenous relationships, consultation expertise, and strategic project leadership to AtkinsRéalis transportation programs.
