As a Procurement Student, you will support Buyers, Order Administrators, Expeditors, Procurement Engineering, and Management. Your work will span procurement systems, sensitive financial information, reporting, and supplier documentation. Strong time management and Microsoft Office proficiency will support multiple requests, customers, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, distribution, and filing
- Support procurement and quality management reporting and general duties
- Process Non-Disclosure Agreements and safeguard sensitive financial information
- Register supplier documentation in the Document Management System
- Create small dollar goods purchase orders using Punch out and Pcard
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education, equivalent experience, or transferable skills
- Administrative experience in a busy office environment
- Proficiency in database entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional time management supporting multiple procurement requests
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under project deadlines
