Reporting to the Reactor Maintenance Technical Manager, you will support Candu Field Services projects under direct supervision. Your work may include mechanical equipment design, machine controls, technical documentation, quality support, and project-site assignments. The position requires security clearance for Candu Energy Inc. facilities and customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform conceptual and detailed mechanical equipment design
- Prepare specifications, procedures, drawings, and equipment layouts
- Support manufacturing, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities
- Participate in technical design meetings with stakeholders
- Travel domestically and internationally to project sites
Requirements:
- Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace engineering degree
- Eligibility for Professional Engineer registration in Ontario
- Solid Edge or SolidWorks CAD experience considered an asset
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills
- Commitment to safety, problem solving, integrity, and customer focus
