Bilingual Sales and Customer Service Associate
Join Intact Financial's inbound call centre team in Vancouver and help customers choose and manage personal insurance products. The position includes mentoring and training, with a hybrid work model available after successful completion of training.
Compensation and schedule
Salary: $47,100–$57,500 per year, based on a 35-hour workweek. An annual bonus target of 5% is also offered.
Start date: January 29, 2027. The schedule is 35 hours per week, with five 8-hour shifts Monday to Saturday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturdays are required during the first year. During training, employees may be asked to work on-site up to four days per week.
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on insurance products and answer product questions.
- Assess customer needs and promote or cross-sell personal insurance products and services.
- Process payment method changes and update customer accounts accurately.
- Respond to telephone and electronic inquiries and resolve customer issues.
Qualifications
- At least one year of customer service experience; call centre experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Sales and customer loyalty experience is desirable.
- Ability to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout employment.
