Metrolinx seeks a Project Coordinator supporting design and construction activities for transit signaling work. You will coordinate engineering projects, contractor activities, stakeholder approvals, and project performance tracking. The position requires knowledge of cost control, scheduling, contracts, codes, standards, and railway safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate signaling design and construction against standards and agreements
- Review work plans, permits, and stakeholder approvals
- Oversee construction meetings, site reviews, and safety compliance
- Track expenditures, purchase orders, contracts, and change orders
- Support risks, schedules, tendering, commissioning, and reporting
Requirements:
- College diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology
- At least five years coordinating transit planning, design, and construction
- Knowledge of project management, cost control, scheduling, and contracts
- Understanding of railway rules, regulations, safety, and operations
- Proficiency with project management software; Ontario G licence required
