About the opportunity
Loblaw is building an ongoing roster of freelance content creators to produce social content for its brands and banners. This is a project-based opportunity; assignment volume and frequency vary, and roster inclusion does not guarantee a specific number of projects or hours.
What you could do
- Concept, shoot, edit, and deliver platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Create food, product, lifestyle, and retail content, including cooking, styling, filming, and short-form video editing.
- Develop content from brief and storyboard through shoot preparation, production, graphics, and final edit.
- Adapt brand priorities, trends, and cultural moments into timely social content, and collaborate with social, strategy, creative, and brand teams.
What Loblaw is looking for
- A portfolio demonstrating independent social content concepting, shooting, and editing.
- Food content experience and strong short-form video editing and visual storytelling skills.
- Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms and their formats.
- Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
- Ability to travel to retail and other shoot locations across the GTA when required.
Work arrangement and compensation
Assignments may take place in-store, on location, at Loblaw's Toronto Agency office, or remotely. Rate details will be discussed during the interview process; the salary range shown in the source posting does not apply to this freelance roster call.
