Project Planner in Québec

Stantec is hiring a full-time Project Planner to support engineering and construction projects. The position may be based in Montréal, Laval, Trois-Rivières, Québec City, or Chicoutimi. Chicoutimi is the primary work location, and regular on-site presence at a client location is required. Employees based elsewhere may need to travel to Chicoutimi as project needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Develop, baseline, maintain, and update engineering and construction project schedules using the Critical Path Method.
• Assess progress and completed work, quantify schedule impacts, and provide regular updates.
• Coordinate short-term schedules with project managers and teams, evaluate effects on master schedules, and recommend corrective actions.
• Incorporate resource or cost data when required and support integrated schedule change control and project change management.
• Coordinate scheduling with clients and project teams, manage reporting requirements, and support project controls activities.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a construction or engineering project environment.
• Experience contributing to multidisciplinary EPCM teams.
• Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and Adobe applications.
• A degree in civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or a project management diploma or degree, is considered an asset.
