Real Canadian Superstore is hiring a Department Manager in Training in Penticton, BC. The role includes a comprehensive development program to prepare the successful candidate to lead a department.

Responsibilities

• Learn to oversee daily department operations and deliver customer service.
• Support department sales, profitability, inventory management, merchandising, and operational standards.
• Learn to lead, coach, and develop colleagues and foster an inclusive workplace.
• Work with store leaders to support business goals, labour management, compliance, and store-wide priorities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Previous retail management experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Hiring range: $45,000–$55,000 per year.
