Just Eat Takeaway.com is hiring a senior platform engineer for its Security & Authentication team. This Canada-remote role focuses on securing and scaling foundational platform infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Remediate platform vulnerabilities and build hardened container base images.
- Operate and scale Kubernetes, including enforcing admission control and security policies with Kyverno.
- Design and maintain highly available authentication services using Keycloak and IdentityServer.
- Automate operational work and build infrastructure tooling with Python, Go, Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Own AWS infrastructure operations, work with GCP, and participate in on-call incident response.
Qualifications
- Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container hardening, and policy-as-code.
- Experience with Python or Go, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD tools including GitHub Workflows and ArgoCD.
- Hands-on AWS experience with ECS, EKS, IAM, and Security Hub.
- Experience implementing and maintaining authentication services such as Keycloak or IdentityServer.
- Linux troubleshooting and vulnerability remediation experience.
Location: Remote, Canada
Compensation range: $102,600–$135,000. Final compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
