Randstad Canada is recruiting a Senior Workday Functional Analyst for an enterprise in the financial services and insurance sector. This is a 12-month full-time contract with extension potential and a hybrid schedule requiring two days per week on-site. Responsibilities
- Facilitate discovery workshops, document requirements, analyze workflows, and identify process automation and optimization opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, assess solution options, estimate effort, and contribute to Workday configurations and enhancements.
- Develop and coordinate functional, regression, and user acceptance testing; manage defects before deployment.
- Support IT project coordination, deliverable tracking, prioritization, and status reporting.
- Maintain functional documentation, deliver knowledge-transfer sessions, and support internal teams.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience as a business or functional analyst in IT environments.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Workday platform experience.
- Fluency in French is mandatory; the posting also states that English fluency is required for interactions with centralized internal departments.
- Operational knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Benefits, and Payroll is preferred.
- Knowledge of Workday business processes, approval workflows, business rules, integrations, and data exchange is valued.
- Experience with software testing, the SDLC, and Agile/Scrum is an asset.
Assignment: November 9, 2026 to November 5, 2027. Extension potential is noted.
