Loblaw is hiring a Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing and Projects for a 12-month contract in Brampton, Ontario.
The role supports Retail Construction and Design and Strategic Projects teams in developing and executing category strategies, sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, and analytical projects.
Responsibilities
- Support category management strategies and strategic sourcing processes, including RFI and RFP events.
- Analyze sourcing baselines, supplier bids, proposals, costs, savings, risks, and performance metrics.
- Conduct supply market analysis and develop category, supplier, and risk profiles.
- Manage supplier engagement and support contract execution, compliance, and relationship management.
- Support strategic project planning, business cases, rent-versus-buy analyses, and KPI tracking.
- Maintain category data and provide recurring and ad hoc analysis using Excel and other procurement systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, engineering, or business management.
- One to three years of relevant experience, including financial reporting or complex analysis; category management or strategic sourcing experience is an asset.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with advanced Excel and Power Point capabilities.
- Experience with SAP, Jaggaer, Ariba, Fieldglass, or Officetrax is an asset.
