Reporting to the Senior Supervisors, the Mine Dispatcher plays a key role in real-time coordination of mining operations. You will collaborate with Mine Operations and Maintenance teams to monitor equipment, manage haulage, and support decision-making processes. Your ability to identify production inefficiencies will be crucial in meeting performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the Wenco Fleet Management System in real time
- Monitor equipment locations and dispatch haul trucks efficiently
- Track key performance indicators and optimize production
- Maintain regular communication with operators and supervisors
- Generate and distribute shift reports on production and equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma; post-secondary in mining or logistics is preferred
- Previous experience in dispatch or open-pit mining
- Familiarity with fleet management systems, especially Wenco
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Strong communication and analytical skills
