Lead Maclean’s editorial vision with investigative journalism and audience development across print, digital, social and newsletters. Represent Canada’s national publication publicly. This Editor-in-Chief role guides Maclean’s next chapter at SJC Media. You will shape content strategy, commission high-impact journalism and lead editors, writers and designers. The mandate includes protecting editorial independence while strengthening relevance for new generations of Canadians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set editorial direction and content strategy across all platforms

Requirements:
- 10+ years of journalism experience
- At least five years in senior editorial leadership
- Exceptional knowledge of Canadian politics, business and culture
- Proven print and digital audience development experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
