Deliver resident-centred nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Case Manor in Bobcaygeon, working 12-hour shifts. This six-month vacancy supports senior living.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse provides care within RPN/LPN scope. The position requires communication, assessment, sound nursing practice, and teamwork. It supports residents and families while guiding staff and overseeing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care under policies, orders, and resident care plans
- Deliver excellent nursing and personal care
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Supervise Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members
- Assess admissions, readmissions, and changes in resident status
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset
- Good judgement and ability to identify risks
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit
- Successful Vulnerable Sector or Criminal Record Check
