Sienna Senior Living seeks a permanent part-time days Registered Practical Nurse for its Kingston community. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will impact residents through nursing care, ongoing assessments, and effective communication. The position includes overseeing resident care and supervising Personal Support Workers or other unregulated team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete admissions, readmissions, and change-in-status assessments
- Provide ongoing resident assessments and care follow-up
- Deliver nursing care within the Registered Practical Nurse scope
- Create welcoming, supportive environments through teamwork
- Guide and supervise assigned unit team members
Requirements:
- Good-standing registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Geriatric, rehabilitation, or senior health experience is an asset
- Ability to foster a positive work environment
- Good judgment and risk-identification abilities
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
