As a Registered Practical Nurse with Sienna Senior Living, you will provide high-quality care in a retirement community. Your work includes assessments, RAPS, individualized care plans, medication administration, and resident communication. You will also guide unregulated care workers through training and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Complete assessments, RAPS, and individualized care plans
- Follow up on resident, family, and team concerns
- Promote self-care, wellness, and preventative health education
- Guide unregulated care workers through training and education
Requirements:
- Current Ontario Registered Practical Nurse registration
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate
- Current Medication Administration Certificate
- Minimum one year geriatric, healthcare, or rehabilitation experience
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Canadian work eligibility
